Sandblasting is done both by machine and by hand on the stone surface. In manual method, sand or silica is sprayed on the surface of the stone using wind pumps with high pressure and creates a rough and slightly rough surface on the stone. Sand or silica at a high speed to the surface of the stone can cause a porous or rough texture on the surface of the stone. The purpose of sandblasting is to increase friction and eliminate the slippery surface of floor stone. Sandblasting cleans and smooths the surface of the stone and removes sediment on the stone surface and increases the stone lifespan. In the machine method, iron pellets and sandblast pieces are used.
